Meet Your SC2ITL Playoff Teams - Love Your Girlfriend

When Love Your Girlfriend came into the SC2ITL they hosted a fairly interesting team, but during the group stages they became at least two times the team they were before by adding Tassadar and Genius as well as a few other Korean players to their roster. It was a tight race to the finish line as it looked like their Korean additions may have came just a little too late to secure their place in the playoffs.

Meet Your SC2ITL Playoff Teams - Russian Universe of Warhammer

Russian Universe of Warhammer, more commonly recognized as RuW for short, are a team who have come a long way with very little. Slowly but surely they are building up an absolutely ridiculous line-up of players. Just moments before I wrote this I learned that they have just picked up 2013 WCS Premier League Russian player Noname, who will certainly add a nice bit of punch to any line-up they send out in a match. Alongside Noname there is 2014 WCS Challenger player Stakiman, who had the misfortune of meeting Naniwa in his BO5 Challenger League match (somebody please explain how this is a good Challenger League format?!)

KnightS* Gaming are a Dutch team who certainly made a splash so far in the SC2ITL. Being one of the underdog teams going into the playoffs it is going to be interesting to see how they will fare against RO16 opponents Love Your Girlfriend who have recently carved up a monstrous roster. Without a single Korean to their name KnightS* will have to pull out all of the stops if they want to take down their RO16 opponents, never mind making it all the way to the Finals.

Meet Your SC2ITL Playoff Teams - Vega Squadron

Hosting a small main team Vega Squadron are definitely not ones to count out as a deep and powerful academy lies in back up for them in-case times get tough going into the playoffs. They made it through the Groups in fairly dominating fashion, dropping only two matches on their way to RuW and Alien Invasion - and really you should expect no less from a team who had three players in the WCS System already in 2014 (Firecake who made Premier League, Revolver and VERDI who made Challenger League). Throughout the season they also had Spanish player AlastOr helping them out, though he recently left the team to pursue new opportunities.
