Yesterday Twitch opened up their annual convention TwitchCon in San Diego with a string of announcements covering new features across the Twitch platform. One of the most notable announcements was that Amazon Prime is now coming to Twitch in the form of Twitch Prime. Twitch Prime is now included in your Amazon Prime subscription ($11 per month / $100 per year in the US) and is advertised as "the best gaming package" you can purchase.

Twitch Prime includes all the benefits of Turbo, monthly free game loot (this month featuring a new Hearthstone hero, Tyrande Whisperwind), free/discounted games and a free subscription to a Twitch channel of your choosing, once per month.

That means that if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber you are now sitting on a free Twitch sub, which will act like a normal subscription to the streamer in terms of revenue made.
